Tokugawa Ieyasu Tokugawa Ieyasu was born in Matsudaira Takechiyo in 1542, son of the lord of the duty of Mikawa. He had now gained a renowned military reputation. When Nobunaga was kill in 1582, Ieyasu acquired more territory, and allied with Nobunagas successor, toyotomi hideyoshi. Hideyoshi then sent Ieyasu to persist lands in the east of Japan to try and assure his evolution independence. Ieyasu made his new headquarters at the mild way of edo which is now Tokyo.

When Hideyoshi died campaigning in Korea, Ieyasu became nonpareil of the guardians of his two-year-old son.
